Father of Thomas Partey, Jacob, has stated his son is ready to join leave Atletico Madrid for any team that will pay his release clause.
Partey has been heavily linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano this summer, with Arsenal, Manchester United, PSG and Inter Milan credited with an interest in his services.
The 26-year-old has a £43.5 million buy-out clause but the Rojiblanco are working around the clock hand him an improved deal.
According to Partey’s father, his son will join any club if the club meets the demands of Diego Simeone’s outfit.
“My son’s current club Atletico Madrid has a release clause in Partey’s deal,” he told Silver FM.
“This means that any club which shows interest in signing him must meet those demands.”
“So any team which meets Atletico’s demand will be able to sign my son, and not specifically Arsenal.”
“I always call my son and he is of age to decide on a move. I am ready to support his decision.”
