Blessing Osei Manu, a young schoolgirl who went missing nearly a week ago, has been found abandoned on a roadside in Kasoa. Last seen on October 26 near the Kasoa overhead, Blessing disappeared while running errands, prompting her family, police, and community members to initiate an extensive search.
She was discovered early Thursday morning by a passerby, who noticed her lying frail and disoriented by the roadside. The good Samaritan immediately alerted her family, who confirmed her identity as the missing girl.
Her family suspects that Blessing may have been held against her will and possibly forced into labor before being abandoned. They believe that recent media attention on her disappearance might have pressured her captors to release her.
Currently, Blessing is receiving medical care while police conduct an investigation into her disappearance and suspected captivity.
