Minority Demands Answers Over GH₵95m Judgment Debt to Be Paid to West Blue

The Minority in Parliament is seeking clarification regarding a GH₵95 million judgment debt awarded to West Blue Consulting. The company had been providing technical services to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at the ports until the government terminated their contract.

Julie Essiam, the GRA Commissioner General, confirmed the amount during a Public Accounts Committee hearing. However, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, a member of the committee, insists that the government must explain the justification for this payment and the legal defense it presented before the award.
