An accident occurred on the Accra-Tema motorway heading towards Tema, involving a Toyota Tundra, a Benz 207 passenger vehicle, and a trailer truck.
The Toyota Tundra, purportedly from the office of the president, was operated by a mechanic.
The collision took place on Saturday morning at approximately 8 am.
Numerous passengers in the vehicles sustained minor injuries.
The accident led to significant traffic congestion on the motorway, compelling vehicles to utilize the road’s shoulder towards Tema.
The Toyota Tundra driver stated that he had stopped to request directions to Toyota Ghana when the trailer truck struck his vehicle from the rear.
The collision caused his vehicle to swerve into the left lane, where it impacted the Benz 207 passenger vehicle.
