It Pains Me That The Lady at Omah Laycs Concert Came Out to Apologize, They Are Not Married – Sister Derby

Ghanaian musician Deborah Owusu-Bonsu, popularly known as Sister Derby or Sister Deborah, has expressed her disappointment over the public apology made by the lady who danced on stage with Nigerian musician Omah Lay during his concert. Sister Derby stated that since the couple is not married, it is normal for the lady to dance with Omah Lay as a form of entertainment.

She expressed her dismay in a tweet, saying, “E pain me waaa say the Omah Lay concert girl come out to explain. Kai. Dancing k3k3. Youngins, not married, but taking this thing World Cup. Simple entertainment. Jamaicans will be laughing. Boys will cheat publicly and not ever dare apologize publicly. The girl do yawa by apologizing in my opinion.”

The incident occurred during Omah Lay’s concert in the UK, where a lady joined him on stage to dance while her boyfriend was present. Following the concert, the boyfriend reportedly ended the relationship, and the incident has since gone viral. Sister Derby’s comments have sparked a debate on social media about relationships and public displays of affection.
