Pappy Kojo, a Ghanaian musician, has addressed circulating rumors regarding his alleged discord with actress Yvonne Nelson, dispelling claims that he was responsible for the breakdown of their relationship.
The musician, who had been linked romantically with Yvonne Nelson in the past, revealed that it was, in fact, disappointment from the actress that led to his seemingly petty actions towards her.
In an interview with TV3, Pappy Kojo explained the reasons behind his consistent jabs at the actress on social media, emphasizing that contrary to speculation, he hadn’t done anything to harm their relationship.
“I didn’t do anything, it’s not true whatever you’re hearing. If it was true, it would be in her book. She disappointed me, so I thought I should pay her back. I can be really petty when I am disappointed. The dance challenge is not me being petty, the real pettiness is yet to come,” Pappy Kojo stated.
The musician’s taunting of Yvonne Nelson notably intensified when she released her memoir, an event that drew considerable attention and involvement from figures like Sarkodie and Iyanya, leading to Yvonne trending for several weeks.
Pappy Kojo notably sided with Sarkodie during this time, creating a dance challenge in support of the Sarkcess boss’ diss response to Yvonne Nelson.
Addressing allegations of disloyalty, Pappy Kojo candidly expressed his stance on loyalty, stating, “I’m not loyal one bit. If you tell me your secret, I will leak it, and I am very proud of that. But I am nice to nice people, I am not like that with everyone. I’m just a karma guy. If you give me biscuit, I’ll give you biscuit but if you give me hot pepper, I’ll give you hot pepper with ginger.”
