I Will Give Opportunities to Youth When I Become President – Cheddar

Nana Kwame Bediako, head of the New Force party, has vowed to provide the youth with opportunities to actively participate in the country’s decision-making processes if he secures the presidency in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Bediako emphasized that over the past four decades, young individuals have been deprived of such chances and have been exploited by politicians who traded money for votes. Speaking on The Point of View on Citi TV, he asserted, “The New Force stands for the youth in this country. We believe that, in the past four decades, the youth should have the right to be part of the decision-making process regarding who will lead us and how.”

Highlighting the absence of young leaders with the courage to unify the nation, Bediako positioned himself as the bridge between the youth and the government. “I am going to be a president who will give the opportunity to young people, first of all, to be a part of the decision of how this country is choosing leaders,” he affirmed.

The New Force leader’s initiative aims to break the cycle of politicians resorting to monetary inducements to sway the youth vote. Bediako stressed, “We want to eradicate and get rid of people going to the same youth and giving them money instead, and after that, there is no development, there is no job creation.” This move aligns with his vision for fostering genuine youth involvement in shaping the nation’s future.
