I Have Not Prophesied That Bawumia Will Win NPP Flag Bearer Race – Reverend Owusu Bempah

Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has refuted claims that he made a prophetic statement regarding Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s potential victory in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries. According to Owusu-Bempah, some individuals advocating for the Vice President have falsely asserted that he prophesied Bawumia as the ideal candidate to lead the NPP and break the “8-year cycle.”

During a public statement, Owusu-Bempah clarified his position, declaring, “I have not made such a statement anywhere. I’ve not said it in my church or anywhere.” He urged those spreading this information to refrain from doing so.

In a related development, the campaign team of Vice President Bawumia has denied allegations that they offered Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong $800 million to withdraw from the presidential primaries. The campaign team emphasized that neither the Vice President nor his team has had private meetings with Kennedy Agyapong since the commencement of the flagbearer race.

Dr. Gideon Boako, spokesperson for the campaign team, issued a statement on Monday, October 30, stating, “The Vice President has never instructed anybody to meet with Kennedy Agyapong, or his assigns to negotiate anything in respect of this contest.” The team dismissed the $800 million claim as “absolutely ridiculous” and reaffirmed Dr. Bawumia’s confidence in his ability to secure victory in the NPP’s 2024 flagbearer election, scheduled for Saturday, November 4.
