Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh who is the Minister of Education of Ghana has denied knowledge of famous Ghanaian actor cum philanthropist and farmer who is currently vying for the popular Ayawaso West Wuogon seat on the ticket of the NDC.
In an interview on the new segment of GEG with Paul Adom Otchere, Dr. Prempeh, or NAPO as he is popularly called established that he has never crossed paths with the actor in his entire life.
The Minister, however, rained praises on Madam Lydia Alhassan for her efforts to the constituency but refused to appreciate John Dumelo who has equally supported the constituency in his capacity even as a parliamentary aspirant.
This was how the minister approached questions on that particular topic;
Adom Otchere: A famous guy was distributing as well, John Dumelo.
NAPO: I mean the lady
Adom Otchere: Are you referring to John Dumelo?
NAPO: I don’t know John Dumelo.
Adom Otchere: John Dumelo is a famous actor
NAPO: We thank God, I don’t want trouble.
Adom Otchere: He is the parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon
NAPO: Aaaaah? Why did he get one of the free cars?
