The sad story of sensational rising dancehall singer, Ernestina Afari known as Dhat Gyal has left Deloris Frimpong Manso famed as Delay weeping like a baby.
Dhat Gyal rose to fame overnight after her manager, Jeremiah Adjei found her on street and helped her to exhibit her talent of singing.
However, the Lonely hitmaker could maintain the spotlight – she fizzled into the twilight and much was not heard of her again.
Before rising to stardom, she was a drug addict – according to her she was introduced to drugs like marijuana at age 15 by bad friends after the demise of her parents.
In a recent interview with Deloris Frimpong-Manso on Delay Show, Dhat Gyal revealed that being famous made her overcame the addiction to drugs.
However, she went back into drugs after she failed to maintain the spotlight.
She revealed her love and interest in fashion. She said she has been watching some videos on youtube to master her sowing skills.
Delay disclosed that she sympathizes with her because the Be With You crooner’s story is similar to hers.
According to Delay, she lost her parents at a very young age – she went through difficult times before she finally broke into the entertainment industry.
Delay further urged Dhat Gyal to desist from bad friends and cling to Jesus Christ for total deliverance from the demons tormenting her and seek directions for life in the showbiz industry.
The young musician expressed her gratitude to delay for inviting her to show and encouraging her to never lose hope.
It was at this point, Delay could not hold back her tears but to let it flow as she wept listening to the young girl speak.
