East Legon Accident: All-White Candlelight Vigil to Honor Victims

A candlelight vigil will be held today, October 18, 2024, in memory of Maame Dwomoh Boateng and Justine Agbenu, two young women who tragically lost their lives in a horrific accident in East Legon on October 12. The “All White Candlelight Vigil” is scheduled for 5:00 PM at the site of the accident.

Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to come together in honor of the victims. Attendees are asked to wear white as a symbol of remembrance. Since the tragic event, there has been an outpouring of grief online, with many Ghanaians calling for justice for Maame and Justine.
