CEO of Menzgold NAM1 Granted Gh¢500 Million Bail

Nana Appiah Mensah, the former CEO of Menzgold Ghana Limited, has been granted bail in the amount of GH¢500 million. He is facing 39 counts of fraud and money laundering charges in a trial involving Menzgold Ghana Limited and Brew Marketing Consult.

As part of the bail conditions, he must deposit his passport with the court registry and report to the CID headquarters every Thursday.

His lawyer requested the bail conditions to remain the same as a previous bail granted at the circuit court, which was GH¢5 million without the need for justification.
