Black Stars Set Camp in Johannesburg, South Africa, Gearing Up for AFCON 2023

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced that the national football team, the Black Stars of Ghana, are scheduled to commence their preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The team is set to initiate their training camp on Sunday, December 31, 2023, gearing up for the prestigious tournament hosted in Côte d’Ivoire.

Amidst anticipation and fervor, the Black Stars find themselves positioned in a challenging group alongside football powerhouses Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique. The team’s AFCON journey is slated to begin on January 14th, marking their first match against Cape Verde.
