Black Princesses Secure Semifinal Spot with Victory Over Tanzania

In the African Games Women’s football event, the Black Princesses sealed their spot in the semifinals by defeating Tanzania 2-1 at Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

The game kicked off with Tanzania dominating possession, frustrating the Black Princesses who struggled to maintain their composure. Despite this, Tanzania capitalized on their chances, taking the lead in the 23rd minute courtesy of a goal from Hasnath Ubamba.

However, Ghana refused to let the early setback deter them. They clawed their way back into the match just before halftime, as Tracey Twum’s powerful header leveled the score at 1-1, bringing her total goals in the tournament to three.
