Macdonald Vasnani is the Founder of Consolidated Shipping Agency Limited, popularly known as Conship. He is considered as one of the foremost authorities in the freight forwarding and logistics industry in Ghana. His key competencies in the area of growth management and business development as well as risk analysis and management have ensured that the company he founded from a container office has become a global giant with presence in over 2000 locations across the globe.

Whilst working at the Tema Port, Vasnani had a vision to start his own shipping agency, and thus begun the creation of Conship in 1996. The agency has over the years been at the forefront of offering unmatched services in the areas of logistics, husbandry, vessel agency, trucking, personnel movements and boat crew operations.

MacDonald Vasnani was originally inspired to start his logistics business whilst working as an office manager at the Tema Port in Ghana. He started Consolidated Shipping Agency Limited (ConShip) which offered logistics, husbandry, vessel agency, trucking, personnel movements and boat crew operations. After Ghana’s oil business took off, international companies in need of his company’s services started to arrive.

Berock Ventures Limited is a construction firm also owned by McDonald.  Over the years, Conship has successfully built its presence in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics market at national and international levels through key relationships with its clients and partner agents.

Vasnani has been recognized for his contribution to deepening economic growth in Ghana. In 2015, he was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate degree in Business Administration specializing in Oil and Gas from the Commonwealth University. He was also voted the Upstream CEO of the Year, in 2015 and 2016.
