Ghanaian rapper Asem has stated emphatically that Kuami Eugene deserves the Artiste of the Year Award he won at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).
Ghanaians have criticized the awards scheme after Kuami Eugene was announced as the winner in the Artiste of the Year category ahead of Sarkodie and Kofi Kinaata.
However, Asem has a different view regarding Kuami Eugene winning artiste of the year award.
According to him, Kuami Eugene deserves the award adding that the young talented singer worked hard last year.
Asem was quick to add that, he is not throwing his weight behind Kuami Eugene because he was once signed on his label but he is being objective about it.
