Antoine Semenyo, aged 23, has been honored as Bournemouth’s Player of the Month for November, securing the accolade after an impressive performance.
The Ghanaian International emerged victorious in the Player of the Month poll on Twitter, obtaining 38.6% of the votes. This achievement surpassed the competition posed by Marcus Tavernier (30%), Dominic Solanke (17.1%), and Ryan Christie (14.3%).
Semenyo has made a significant impact, starting in eight out of the 12 Premier League matches he participated in this season and scoring three goals. Notably, he netted the opening goal in Bournemouth’s 2-2 draw against Aston Villa earlier in the month.
During November, the Cherries clinched consecutive Premier League victories, triumphing over Newcastle United at the Vitality Stadium and Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. However, their sole defeat in this period came against champions Manchester City, yet Andoni Iraola’s squad showcased commendable performance as they ascended in the league standings.
Throughout the month’s three top-flight fixtures, Semenyo exhibited consistency, contributing an assist in the triumph over the Blades. His notable performances led to continuous nominations for the club’s Man of the Match polls on social media, emphasizing his impactful contributions to Bournemouth’s successes during November.
