The Accra High Court, Industrial and Labour Division 2, has approved a request from the National Labour Commission (NLC) to serve an interlocutory injunction notice on the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) through substituted service.

The NLC filed the motion on June 10, citing difficulties in delivering the injunction directly to the GRNMA following a court order issued on June 5. Presiding Judge Justice Priscilla Dikro Ofori granted the application and outlined the alternative service procedures.

As per the court’s directive, the injunction notice will be displayed on the High Court’s notice board and at the GRNMA’s office entrance. Additionally, digital copies will be sent via WhatsApp to the association’s president, Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, and general secretary, David Tenkorang-Twum.

The court further ruled that the service will be considered officially completed 14 days after posting.
