Yagbonwura Lifts Ban on Lands Minister Samuel Abu Jinapor

The Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Tumtumba Boresa I, has officially lifted the ban imposed on the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor.

The ban, which was put in place in 2022, was a result of alleged disrespect shown by Mr. Jinapor towards the king and the Gonja Traditional Council.

After numerous appeals and interventions from various stakeholders, including the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Yagbonwura has decided to lift the ban.

This was announced by Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, the Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area and father of Samuel Abu Jinapor.
