Fire Outbreak Destroys Restaurant Near SG Mall in Kumasi

A severe fire erupted at Pico Restaurant, situated near SG Mall in the Top High area of Kumasi.

The blaze started on Monday evening, causing significant damage before firefighters arrived.

An eyewitness reported that the fire swiftly engulfed the restaurant and spread to adjacent stalls, resulting in extensive destruction.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the incident.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded quickly and is currently working diligently to control and extinguish the blaze.

Their rapid response prevented further spread of the fire, though the damage to the restaurant and nearby stalls is considerable.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations will commence once the fire is fully under control.
