#FixTheCountry: John Dumelo Sadly Recalls When He Was Stopped From Dredging Gutters In His Constituency By Assembly

Award-winning actor cum politician, John Setor Dumelo has reminisce how he was stopped from dredging gutters in his Constituency by Assembly.

Prior to the 2020 elections, John Dumelo hired an excavator and to dredge gutter in flood area in the some part of the Ayawaso West Constituency.

According to the Municipal Assembly, John Dumelo did not sought for permit to enable him to carried out the work.

Hence they stopped him and his team from embarking such project in the Municipality.

In his latest Instagram post, the actor shared some photos from the drainage gutters.

According to him, he brought in excavators to fix a problem in his community and was stopped by the government.

He further revealed that problem still persist in these areas prone to flood and nothing has been done about it.

“Last year, I brought in excavators to fix a problem in my community. I was stopped by the government. The rains are in again and the problem still persists. When I complain, they say I should fix my attitude before I can call them to #FixTheCountry. Such arrogance.”
