5 Suspects Arrested in Connection With the Murder of Cossy Hill Hotel CEO in Jirapa

The Ghana Police Service is making strides in unraveling the mystery surrounding the tragic demise of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel in Jirapa, located in the Upper West Region. Mr. Johnson was discovered on February 11th, 2024, lying lifeless in a pool of blood within one of the hotel’s rooms.

In response to this heinous crime, the Regional Crime Scene Management Team swiftly arrived at the hotel to assess the situation. Subsequently, one individual was apprehended to aid in the ongoing investigation. Under the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, a specialized team comprising investigators and experts, led by the Director-General/CID, has been dispatched to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Police Command to ensure a thorough probe into the incident.

In a recent development, the Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of four additional suspects in connection with the murder of Mr. Johnson. These individuals, identified as Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey, are all employees of Cossy Hill Hotel. They join Kumbata Kwaku, who was previously apprehended, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to five.
