3 Music Awards, VGMA And The Rest Are All Fraud - Blakk Rasta Fumes

Ghanaian musician turned radio personality, Blakk Rasta has labelled the VGMAs, 3 Music Awards and others as fraudulent award schemes.

Blakk Rasta explains that he doesn’t understand why people have to vote so many times before somebody can win an award. The Zylofon Radio presenter was speaking on Okay FM.

In a conversation with Abeiku Santana, the host of the show, he said “they are all corrupt”.

According to the ‘Barack Obama’ singer, despite the fact, some of them were so enthused about the awards whilst they were young and upcoming when one looks into the awards now, it’s obvious it’s a fraud.

You see Abeiku when we started coming up, young guys full of energy, we all wanted the awards but when you look inside the awards right now, you’ll realize it’s all a fraud,” he said in the interview seen by GhArticles.com

What kind of awards is it that before you win you have to vote so many times. One million have to vote before you take the award. What are you awarding?” he quizzed whilst speaking on Okay FM’s drivetime show.

Abeiku Santana asked, “is that the mechanism for most award schemes around the world?” and Blakk Rasta replied, ” it’s the mechanism of thievery and corruption and fraud“.

When told he means the VGMAS, 3 Music Awards are not exceptions, he emphasized in the video above that “they are all corrupt“.

Blakk Rasta’s comment has been endorsed by some fans after Abeiku Santana posted an excerpt of the interview on his Instagram page.

Black Sherif Is A One-way Artiste - Blakk Rasta

One of Ghana’s highly opinionated radio presenters, Blakk Rasta has given his verdict on fast-rising rapper Black Sherif.

Black Sherif broke into the limelight with his Second Sermon song which got a lot of recognition from all over the world.

The song earned him a collaboration with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy to record the remix.

He went to carry the Ghanaian fast-rising rapper along with him during his music tour last year.

Currently, his Kwaku The Traveller has garnered a lot of attention topping most music charts around the world.

Speaking to Nana Tuffour and Frema Adunyame on Citi TV show “Upside Down, the highly opinionated broadcaster without mincing words posited that the Kwaku The Traveller is a lucky musician who has a certain grace in his life.

According to him, a lot of people have made songs which are more popular than Kwaku The Traveller but Black Sherif is a lucky guy.

He further advised the young rapper to learn from the mistakes of other musicians in the industry and move on.

Blakk Rasta added that the Second Sermon hitmaker’s two songs he has listened to are so similar.

” I have listened to two of his songs and I think that they are so similar.  Similarity is not one way but if he is not careful he will be a one-way artiste,” the former Zylofon presenter remarked.
