If “by any means necessary” was a person, it would for sure be actress Racquel Palmer!

Back in 2019, Racquel went viral after she purchased a billboard with a message to Tyler Perry. Although Perry initially shared a photo of the billboard saying it was “not the way to get [his] attention”, it looks like her creativity and perseverance worked in her favor.

Racquel recently revealed that she officially landed a leading role in Tyler Perry’s upcoming series, “All The Queen’s Men”, which follows the life of the owner of a male strip club and her loyal head of security. Y’all have probably seen Racquel’s face in another TP show called “Sista’s”, but according to Racquel, her and Tyler have never spoken about the iconic billboard.

“There’s many interactions with him as far as directing,” she said. “But we’ve never spoken about the billboard. It’s just actor and director relationship. So it’s just like it never happened.”

Perry’s initial reaction urged people to save their money, as billboards are pretty pricey, and encouraged hopeful actors and actresses to pull up to auditions for free. While the billboard may have played a role in jumpstarting Racquel’s career, she expressed she wants to be known for what she brings to the big screen instead of the viral “stunt”.

“One thing I did learn was that I want to be known for my talent, not my tactics,” she said. “I don’t think everybody really understands the whole point of the billboard is that I wanted to show my kids that I wasn’t going to give up on my dream. I was at a point where I wanted to, but I didn’t want them to see me give up.”

Lil Nas X Slams Critics For Saying He Is Not A Good Mentor Fit For Kids

Lil Nas X’s name has been hitting headlines like hotcakes, and it doesn’t look like people will stop talking about him anytime soon.

The rapper’s recent decision to outwardly express his personality and sexuality hasn’t rubbed everyone the right way, but he stands by every decision he’s made thus far.

During an appearance on an American show, Breakfast Club with Dj Envy and crew discussed how Nas has made a name for himself in the music industry, as well as the controversy surrounding his ‘Montero’ performances. Lil Nas X has been publicly criticized for the impact his risqué performances may have on children, to which Nas said “f*ck them kids”.

“So? Like, f*ck them kids,” he said. “Not like f*ck them kids. But, we really get once chance to do this, at least to my knowledge. I don’t know what happens when we die, so it’s like I’m not about to pander to your kids or you.”’

He went on to express that he wants to live his life freely, without worrying about the negative things people have to say about him and his music.

“Like anybody. I even have to do this with my family members because my family members may not always agree with what I’m doing, or whoever I’m dating may not agree. But it’s like I honestly really truly wanna live by this is our life. We need to do this sh*t so f*ck what anybody else has to say about it.”

This is not the first time Lil Nas X has defended himself, though. If y’all recall, Nas responded to Peter Thomas, who called his recent behavior “disturbing” for his grandsons to see.

“Stop using y’all lil booger nosed kids as shields, hate gay people with your chest,” he tweeted.

Would you approve for your child to pick Lil Nas X as a role model?

Nicki Minaj Addresses Issues With Twitter, Says She’ll Never Use The Platform Again

Nicki Minaj continues to have the internet going crazy. On the night of Met Gala, she released a series of tweets addressing the COVID-19 vaccination, and those tweets have made their way to several news outlets.

The controversial tweets have had Nicki calling out people left and right, and today she went live on Instagram to get a few things off her chest. She revealed that she’s reportedly in Twitter jail following the tweets about her cousin’s alleged reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine in Trinidad.

Although the viewers on the live couldn’t see her face, they definitely could hear her voice. She started addressing Twitter, saying that she’ll never go back on the platform because it was starting to feel a little scary. Nicki recalled, “I remember when I was when I was a little girl, and I would be taken to church. Sometimes the people in church would tell us, “Be happy that you’re able to praise God freely because some people in so many countries in the world can’t praise the God they’d like to praise freely.”

As she continued explaining, she said that this experience motivated her to be in church because some people don’t get this luxury. While she continued speaking, she shifted to the topic of the vaccine. Nicki mentioned that people should be able to ask questions about anything that’s being put in their bodies. The “Queen” claimed that we are living in a time when people will turn their back on you for not agreeing with your thoughts and views, and people will isolate you if you simply speak and ask a question.

Nicki was called out when she shared news about her cousin in Trinidad who had allegedly become impotent after taking the COVID-19 vaccine. “I’m seeing Black women on Twitter, Black women I follow acting like this is funny,” Nicki stated. Before ending the live, she said that she didn’t give any facts about the vaccine and reiterated that she didn’t want to travel with her small child, Papa Bear. Currently, Nicki’s Twitter is still up.

Nicki Minaj’s COVID-19 Vaccine ‘Swollen Testicles’ Claim Is False, Says Trinidad Health Minister

Nicki Minaj's COVID-19 Vaccine 'Swollen Testicles' Claim Is False, Says Trinidad Health Minister

Trinidad and Tobago Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh on Wednesday criticized as “false” the claim by American rapper Nicki Minaj that a person on the Caribbean island suffered swollen testicles after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

Trinidad-born Minaj sparked an international furor when she alleged on Twitter that her cousin in Trinidad refuses to get a vaccine because his friend become impotent after being vaccinated.

“His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding,” Minaj, who has 22.6 million Twitter followers, said on Monday.

The comments triggered an international backlash, with senior U.S. and British coronavirus officials condemning the claims.

Deyalsingh also denounced the statement by the Grammy-nominated artist as a waste of time.

“One of the reasons why we could not respond yesterday in real-time to Miss Minaj is that we had to check and make sure that what she was claiming was either true or false. Unfortunately, we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim,” Deyalsingh said.

When asked about Minaj’s tweets, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. infectious disease expert, said there was a lot of misinformation on social media.

“I’m not blaming her for anything – but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis as except a one-off anecdote, and that’s not what science is all about.”

Minaj said in a separate tweet that she had not been able to complete enough research of her own on the COVID-19 vaccines to get one in time for the Met Gala, a star-studded fundraiser for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Later, Minaj added that she will get vaccinated to be able to tour.
