Widow of Late Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah Remarries

Lilian Owusu, the widow of the late former Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, has remarried.

Dr. Kumah passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the age of 45. He was widely recognised for his dedication to public service, economic development, and his close ties with the people of Ejisu. His death drew tributes from political leaders, colleagues, and constituents across the country, who acknowledged his contributions to national development.

The late Dr. Kumah and Lilian Owusu were married for nearly two decades and had six biological children together, in addition to fostering other children.

Lilian Owusu is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Disciples of Christ Ministries Worldwide. She first met Dr. Kumah in 2005, and the couple married a year later.
