Kwabena Peprah, a member of the Wanderlust Ghana team, has reported a robbery during their journey from Accra to Dubai.
The incident occurred in Krefeld, Germany, on the 13th day of their trip, where thieves broke into their Tacoma vehicle and stole belongings, including money and possibly travel documents.
In a Facebook post, Peprah shared that the robbery was discovered when a team member was alerted by the receptionist about the burglary.
The robbers smashed a window to access the car. He expressed concern that if team member Kwame’s passport was among the stolen items, it could end his participation in the journey.
Currently, the group is at a German police station to file a report, awaiting further instructions on how to proceed. Despite the setback, the Wanderlust Ghana team continues their ambitious overland expedition, aiming to promote Ghana through their travels across 30 countries in 30 days.
