A 10-member Turkish delegation has arrived in Ghana to explore investment opportunities in the agriculture and health sectors. Comprising academicians, finance experts, health professionals, and entrepreneurs, the delegation aims to conduct feasibility assessments to identify areas requiring investment.
The visit is part of efforts to unlock a $100 million investment fund for these sectors from Turkish investors.
Led by Dr. Zerrin Gelik, a gynaecologist, the delegation praised the strong relationship between Ghana and Turkey, highlighting the potential for growth through collaboration.
Dr. Gelik noted that Ghana’s achievements in the health sector and the competence of its business partners made the country an ideal investment destination. The delegation hopes to contribute to constructing hospitals and supporting agricultural projects, with a focus on enhancing food security.
