The Problem With Ghana is We Have not Had any Transformational Leader Since Kwame Nkrumah – Prof. Frimpong Boateng

Renowned heart surgeon Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng highlighted the absence of transformational leadership in Ghana’s politics as a major contributor to the country’s ongoing challenges. He pointed out that Ghana has lacked visionary leaders since its first Prime Minister and president, Kwame Nkrumah. This lack of leadership has led to issues like corruption and mismanagement.

Professor Frimpong-Boateng urged current leaders to reduce Ghana’s reliance on external aid and focus on internal solutions. He also lamented the destruction of important institutions established by Nkrumah.
