Actress and Producer, Yvonne Nelson, has opened up on how her desire to produce her own movies was almost dashed at its early stages.

According to her, the first movie she ever produced was stolen though she did not give the title or year it happened.

She explained on Adom TV’s M’ashyase3 the experience though was heartbreaking also strengthened and pushed her to pursue the dream.

“They went for an editing bench and stole the drives so I saw it as a sabotage to break my legs and throw me off but I didn’t give up,” Miss Nelson narrated to Afia Amankwa Tamakloe.

In the face of the challenge, she strived hard and marked a decade of YN productions in 2021.

Her first hit movie was the Price in 2011 and also produced Single and Married and House of Gold among others and her latest film, The Men We Love.

‘The Men We Love’ stars Majid Michel, who has been off the movie scene for a while.

It also stars Diamond Michelle (Michy), who Miss Nelson believes would “blow fans’ minds” with her acting skills, James Gardiner, Kofi Adjorlolo, veteran Eunice Banini, Tiktoker Jackline Mensah, Angela Banford and many others.

Popular Actor Of Efiewura TV Series, Nana Yaw Kwakye Dead

Popular actor of Efiewura TV series fame Nana Yaw Kwakye has been reported dead.

The deceased is said to have passed on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Though the cause of death is not immediately known, he is said to have been unwell for some time.

His death was reported by the online portal, classfmonline.com.

Apart from acting, the deceased was also a member of Accra-based Radio Gold’s newspaper review team.

One of Ghana’s highly opinionated radio presenters, Blakk Rasta has given his verdict on fast-rising rapper Black Sherif.

Black Sherif broke into the limelight with his Second Sermon song which got a lot of recognition from all over the world.

The song earned him a collaboration with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy to record the remix.

He went to carry the Ghanaian fast-rising rapper along with him during his music tour last year.

Currently, his Kwaku The Traveller has garnered a lot of attention topping most music charts around the world.

Speaking to Nana Tuffour and Frema Adunyame on Citi TV show “Upside Down, the highly opinionated broadcaster without mincing words posited that the Kwaku The Traveller is a lucky musician who has a certain grace in his life.

According to him, a lot of people have made songs which are more popular than Kwaku The Traveller but Black Sherif is a lucky guy.

He further advised the young rapper to learn from the mistakes of other musicians in the industry and move on.

Blakk Rasta added that the Second Sermon hitmaker’s two songs he has listened to are so similar.

” I have listened to two of his songs and I think that they are so similar.  Similarity is not one way but if he is not careful he will be a one-way artiste,” the former Zylofon presenter remarked.
