According to the rapper, the easiest way to set foot in the industry is to have a hit song but the harder part sets in when it comes to maintaining relevance.

He said, “Because of passion, I was doing the crowdsourcing and by the time I was on TV they felt like they were part of it,” on Kumasi-based Pure FM.

Adding to the statement, he said despite his popularity, he critiques himself, works, and how others will see him and how they will also receive his works.

“The easiest way is the hardest way. You can have a hit but you need to maintain. Just having hits doesn’t secure you being in the game for long…you need to know your power and hammer on it,” the ‘happy day hitmaker said.

Sarkodie, who is set to release his new album dubbed ‘No Pressure’ on July 30, said a hit song cannot cement the career of a musician but rather hard work.

“You can have the hits but it secures nothing, you have to build it from ground up then you can have a solid fanbase… you have to do it little by little… I had to do lots of travelling when I was up-and-coming.”

Lil Nas X Slams Critics For Saying He Is Not A Good Mentor Fit For Kids

Lil Nas X’s name has been hitting headlines like hotcakes, and it doesn’t look like people will stop talking about him anytime soon.

The rapper’s recent decision to outwardly express his personality and sexuality hasn’t rubbed everyone the right way, but he stands by every decision he’s made thus far.

During an appearance on an American show, Breakfast Club with Dj Envy and crew discussed how Nas has made a name for himself in the music industry, as well as the controversy surrounding his ‘Montero’ performances. Lil Nas X has been publicly criticized for the impact his risqué performances may have on children, to which Nas said “f*ck them kids”.

“So? Like, f*ck them kids,” he said. “Not like f*ck them kids. But, we really get once chance to do this, at least to my knowledge. I don’t know what happens when we die, so it’s like I’m not about to pander to your kids or you.”’

He went on to express that he wants to live his life freely, without worrying about the negative things people have to say about him and his music.

“Like anybody. I even have to do this with my family members because my family members may not always agree with what I’m doing, or whoever I’m dating may not agree. But it’s like I honestly really truly wanna live by this is our life. We need to do this sh*t so f*ck what anybody else has to say about it.”

This is not the first time Lil Nas X has defended himself, though. If y’all recall, Nas responded to Peter Thomas, who called his recent behavior “disturbing” for his grandsons to see.

“Stop using y’all lil booger nosed kids as shields, hate gay people with your chest,” he tweeted.

Would you approve for your child to pick Lil Nas X as a role model?

I Was Only Giving TT Financial Advice But ‘Unintelligent’ Journalists Made Him Cursed Me – DKB Reacts After Actor Cursed Him And Critics

I Was Only Giving TT Financial Advice But 'Unintelligent' Journalists Made Him Cursed Me - DKB Reacts After Actor Cursed Him And Critics

Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB) has finally rected after veteran actor, Psalm Adjeteyfio cursed him and critics for trolling him following his recent cry for help.

Actor Psalm Adjetefio popularly known as ‘T.T’ of ‘Taxi Driver’ fame recently fired out at DKB for calling him an embarrassment.

According to T.T, DKB should shut up and stop saying stupid things because he has no idea what went on in his life to bring him to this point.

The veteran actor in recent days has come out to beg Ghanaians for help to pay his rent because he’s broke beyond belief.

His begging spree yielded immediate fruits, with Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia accepting to pay for his rent for five years (Ghc 30,000) and giving him a sum of Ghc 20,000 for his upkeep.

Greater Accra Regional Minister Honourable Henry Quartey also gave him a monthly stipend of Ghc 1,500 to be paid out of his MP’s salary until January 2025.

In light of all that, DKB came out to record a video calling Psalm Adjetefio an ’embarrassment’.

According to him, all that begging is embarrassing to the creative arts sector and paints them in a bad light.

He also advised the old man to invest the Ghc 20,000 Dr Bawumia gave him and not spend it recklessly.

The actor appears to have heard DKB’s words and the comments of others saying he did not manage his youth well and taken issue with that.

Recording a video response, he blamed his current state on sickness and warned his critics to pray that sickness never takes away their wealth like has happened to him.

He also had harsh words for DKB and those attacking him.

“…People build mansions, disease take them all away. People buy cars, disease takes them all away.

“So please, know how to talk. If you don’t have anything to talk about, keep your mouth shut. I pray that those of you saying all those stupid things, may the father send the devil to visit you…” he fired.

He doesn’t sound so old and infirm anymore hitting back at his critics.

Following that, DKB has taken to Twitter to clarify his message he recorded in a video calling the veteran actor an ’embarrasement’ for begging.

According to him, he was only advising the actor on what to do with the new money donated to him by the Veep and Henry.

He added that some media houses and journalist have tagged him to TT’s reply to him because of their hatred for him which has nothing to do with him.
