Recruitment for Police, Fire, Prisons, and Immigration Services Opens on November 15

The Ministry of the Interior has announced the commencement of nationwide recruitment into the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service from November 15 to December 15, 2025.

According to the Ministry, the exercise is part of the government’s broader effort to enhance Ghana’s internal security, improve public safety, and ensure efficient service delivery across all internal security agencies.

In a statement, the Ministry indicated that it is seeking disciplined, patriotic, and qualified Ghanaian citizens who are ready to serve the country with integrity and professionalism.

Details of available vacancies, qualifications, and application procedures for each service will be announced soon. The Ministry advised prospective applicants to thoroughly read and understand all instructions and ensure they meet the eligibility requirements before applying.

It further cautioned the public against engaging middlemen or individuals who claim they can influence the recruitment process for a fee. The Ministry reiterated that the recruitment process is free, transparent, and merit-based, adding that any applicant caught submitting false information or forged documents will be disqualified and prosecuted.

The Ministry assured that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks. Information on the official mode of application will be released in due course.
