President John Dramani Mahama marked this year’s Mother’s Day with a visit to his Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, offering warm wishes and acknowledging her service.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, May 11, the President described the visit as a heartfelt gesture and extended special greetings to Prof. Opoku-Agyemang and all mothers across Ghana.
“A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman, whom I had the pleasure of visiting earlier this morning,” he noted.
He added that the Vice President is currently on a well-deserved rest following a recent illness and is expected to resume her official duties soon.
President Mahama concluded by wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all Ghanaian mothers.
