Police Offer GH¢50,000 Reward for Information on Suspect Threatening Public Officials

The Ghana Police Service has announced a GH¢50,000 bounty for information leading to the arrest of a male suspect identified as “Kanawu,” who was seen in a viral video threatening to harm and shoot public officials.

In the video, the suspect made alarming threats against government officials and anyone who crosses his path. The Police, in a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), called on the public to assist in locating and apprehending the suspect.

The authorities are determined to hold the individual accountable for making these serious threats and have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.

The Police emphasized that ensuring the safety of public officials is a top priority and are taking all necessary steps to prevent any harm.
