The Ghana Police Service has arrested a woman captured in a viral video physically assaulting a man.
The arrest was conducted by the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team on Wednesday, November 27, 2025.
The suspect, identified as Esther Nana Afia Sarfowaa, was picked up at Subriso in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency of the Ashanti Region. A second suspect, Stephen Ofori, was also arrested at Nkawie for his involvement.
According to police, three additional individuals linked to the incident are still at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend them.
The Ghana Police Service assured the public that all persons involved in the assault will be brought to justice.
