Nakeeyat Dramani Sam, talented Eight-year-old poetic genius and winner of TV3’s Talented Kids season 3, has revealed how she is been used by stakeholders for their shows and not given a penny.
Speaking during an interview with DJ Advicer on the Ayekoo After-Drive show on Happy98.9FM, the young poetess revealed that even after she goes through a whole lot to rehearse for her performances, her efforts are not recognized hence she is not paid.
She further stated that even though they see her as a kid, she would have been very happy if they could pay her for her work.
Asked by DJ Advicer if she has ever voiced this out to them and asked to be paid, she replied in the negative, defending that they have to give it to her themselves without her having to ask for it.
She answered that she doesn’t even believe she has to ask for the payment of her services after work is done and that she expects the stakeholders to be discerning enough to give her what is due her.
