Parliament has given its approval to the ministerial nominations of Ahmed Ibrahim, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare after a thorough vetting process and subsequent majority vote.
The vetting, conducted by the Parliamentary Appointments Committee, involved an in-depth assessment of the nominees’ qualifications, competencies, and strategic visions for their assigned ministries.
The newly approved ministers and their respective roles are:
- Ahmed Ibrahim, MP for Banda, as Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.
- Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, MP for Krowor, as Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
- Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, MP for Techiman North, as Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.
