Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has released the squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The team will face Japan on November 14, followed by a clash with South Korea on November 18, 2025. These matches are expected to provide valuable game time for new talents and allow the technical team to assess player form ahead of the qualifiers.
Among the new faces in the squad are Czech Republic-based forward Prince Kwabena Adu, Medeama SC winger Kelvin Nkrumah, and FC Montreal attacker Prince Osei Owusu. Their selection reflects the coach’s intent to blend youth with experience while managing player workload.
Some senior players have been rested for the friendlies, while others are unavailable due to injuries.
The Black Stars are scheduled to hold their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday before taking on Japan in the Kirin Cup encounter on Friday, November 14.
