NOBISCO bursar arrested for allegedly diverting food supplies meant for students

The bursar of the Northern School of Business (NOBISCO), Fedelia Kudaariwo, has been arrested for allegedly diverting food items meant for students to her residence.

According to reports, two school drivers, Alhassan Sulemana and Osman Asma, were intercepted by volunteers on Thursday, October 30, while transporting nine bags of maize suspected to have been taken from the school’s store using a school minibus.

The volunteers said they were tipped off by students who claimed that food items were being removed from the store at night. Acting on the information, they monitored the area and caught the drivers in the act.

Upon interrogation, one of the drivers allegedly confessed that the bursar had instructed them to deliver the items to her home. The volunteers proceeded to the bursar’s residence, where additional food supplies were reportedly discovered.

Fedelia Kudaariwo reportedly fled before the team arrived at her home but later turned herself in to the police.

Authorities are investigating the matter to determine the full extent of the alleged diversion and any other individuals involved.
