An unfortunate incident occured in a rural community near Kadjebi, Oti Region, which had led to the death of one Kudzo Danyo, 52, allegedly stabbed by Kwasi Badji, a 47-year-old farmer, during a confrontation over a woman.
The incident unfolded as Danyo attended a meeting to address issues with his wife, who was reportedly involved in an affair with Badji.
Reports indicated that tensions flared when Danyo insulted his wife, leading to a violent altercation with Badji.
Badji allegedly drew a knife, fatally stabbing Danyo multiple times. Despite efforts to save him, Danyo died en route to the hospital.
Badji fled the scene with a gun and a cutlass but was captured by the Kadjebi Police upon his return the following day.
He is currently in police custody.
