Man Arrested for Stealing Flag Hoisting Pole from Kasoa Immigration Office

Yaw Francis, a 35-year-old resident of Kasoa, has been detained by the Kasoa Police for allegedly stealing a flag hoisting pole from the Kasoa Immigration Divisional Command. The incident occurred at midnight when Francis attempted to remove the pole from the Immigration Office.

Security officers on duty noticed Francis carrying the pole and promptly pursued him, leading to his arrest.

The Kasoa Central Sector Commander of the Ghana Immigration Service, ACI Fati Yarah, reported that this theft is part of a series of recent robberies at the office.

Francis is currently in custody at the Kasoa Under Bridge Police Station and is cooperating with ongoing investigations.
