President John Dramani Mahama is set to officially launch the Adwumawura Programme today, Monday, April 28, 2025, in the Ashanti Region.
The initiative, a major government promise, aims to create at least 10,000 new businesses annually, with a strong focus on youth empowerment. It forms part of the government’s broader effort to address the country’s unemployment challenges and fulfills the administration’s 120-day social contract pledge.
In addition to the Adwumawura Programme, President Mahama is expected to launch the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares) and the National Apprenticeship Programme later this week.
