Of the nominees, all except Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, the Greater Accra representative, are regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Mrs. Ocloo serves as an MP rather than an executive, reflecting a unique selection for Greater Accra.

Six regions—Western, Western North, Central, Bono East, Bono, and Upper West—still await nominees. The process for these nominations is expected to follow soon.

Parliament will assess the nominees’ qualifications and suitability for the positions through its vetting process.
