Latest on Hearts of Oak coach after being rushed to hospital during Elmina Sharks game

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu, is in stable condition after he was rushed to hospital at Elmina on Wednesday afternoon.

The young trainer was rushed to the hospital during the matchday eight fixture against Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Complex.

Coach Boadu, according to reports, was not feeling well during the game.

This is the second time the double-winning coach has had challenges while on coaching duties in a league game.

However, he still remains in hospital for continuous monitoring from doctors.

Gladson Awako scored on his debut to hand the Phobians a 1-0 win over Sharks, their first of the season.

“I Have Not Retired Yet, I Still Have A Lot To Offer” – Asamoah Gyan

Asamoah Gyan, the former Black Stars captain, has stated that he has not retired from football and that he still has a lot to contribute on the field.

Since competing in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt, Gyan has not appeared for the Black Stars.

He is also without a club at the age of 36, having parted company with Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities the previous season.

Gyan, speaking on SuperSport TV as an analyst, claimed he hasn’t retired, but that he has to lose weight in order to return to active play.

“I haven’t given up my job yet.” If I need to play, I need to lose weight and be active before [that], and I need to train week in and week out, he stated, according to Ghanaweb.
