If you recall, two weeks ago, Kanye West made headlines for racking up 3.3 million viewers for his initial “DONDA” listening event at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium on July 22nd, making it the most viewed Apple Music livestream ever. Well, it appears that the only person to top Kanye is himself based on new reports. According to @Billboard, Kanye’s second “DONDA” listening event held last week, apparently almost doubled his previous viewing record, as his fans were glued to his extravagant performance—giving Kanye 5.4 million viewers the second time around. That means in total, 8.7 million people around the world tuned in to see what Ye was cooking up!

That’s not all though, reports also reveal that Kanye made $7 million in revenue from in-person sales of his “DONDA” merchandise. Clearly his fans not only came to hear the music of his still-unreleased album, but they also came with endless coins to spend on his merch. Additionally, the “Beats” commercial starring Sha’Carri Richardson that features Kanye’s new song “No Child Left Behind,” is said to have amassed more than 35 million views since it was released almost a month ago.

Meanwhile, the wait for “DONDA” continues, as fans grow increasingly frustrated by expected and missed release dates—although Kanye himself has never actually confirmed when the project would be released.

Will he release the album before the end of the month or will it be longer? No one truly knows, but his fans will clearly remain loyal no matter what.

Will Smith Discusses His “Unconventional Relationship” With Jada Pinkett-Smith–“Marriage For Us Can’t Be A Prison”

As one of the most successful actors of our time, Will Smith recently revealed he spent a large portion of his life trying to live up to the standards his star-studded career set for him. While speaking with GQ, Will opened up about his journey to evolve from an excellent movie star into a well-rounded man, and discussed how his marriage has played a part in that over the years.

Will and Jada have been couple goals for years, which may have changed for some fans of the stars after Jada Pinkett-Smith revealed she had a previous “entanglement” with August Alsina. While speaking with GQ, Will revealed that he and Jada have not had a “conventional” relationship, revealing that their relationship stopped being monogamous at some point.

“Jada never believed in conventional marriage…Jada had family members that had an unconventional relationship. So she grew up in a way that was very different than how I grew up,” he said. “There were significant endless discussions about, what is relational perfection? What is the perfect way to interact as a couple? And for the large part of our relationship, monomer was what we chose, not thinking of monogamy as the only relational perfection.”

Will Smith explained to the interviewer that while the public was very critical of Jada’s revelation about August, she was “not the only one engaging in other sexual relationships.”

“We have given each other trust and freedom, with the belief that everybody has to find their own way. And marriage for us can’t be prison,” Will said. “And I don’t suggest our road for anybody. I don’t suggest this road for anybody. But the experiences that the freedoms that we’ve given one another and the unconditional support, to me, is the highest definition of love.”

Will revealed he he had been playing a character his entire life, and is now ready to live in his truth as a man, father and husband.

“The major difference is I tell the truth, even when people don’t like it,” Will said. “And Will Smith (the character) doesn’t.”

More On R Kelly’s S3x Abuse Case; R. Kelly Found Guilty Of Racketeering In Federal S3x Trafficking Case

'He Crawled Down On His Knees And Gave Me Oral S3x' - R. Kelly's First Male Accuser Testifies In Court

R. Kelly has been found guilty by a federal jury Monday in a sex trafficking trial following decades of numerous allegations of sexual assault and misconduct involving young women and children.

He was convicted on nine charges that were based on the accusation that he ran a criminal enterprise comprised of managers and assistants beneath him who helped Kelly meet young women and girls for his sexual desires.

A jury of seven men and five women found R. Kelly guilty of racketeering after two days of deliberations, the Associated Press reports.

Several of Kelly’s accusers testified during the trial, alleging R. Kelly subjected them to perverse and sadistic acts while they were underage. While awaiting sentencing for this case, R. Kelly is also facing legal trouble in Illinois and Minnesota where he will also go to trial for alleged sex crimes.

R. Kelly has had a long history of alleged pedophilia, dating back to his 1994 marriage to the late Aaliyah when she was just 15. The marriage was later annulled.

He was then arrested in 2002 and accused of making a sextape with a 14-year-old girl.

Despite his past, the real fallout didn’t happen until after the widely watched docuseries ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ somewhat effectively “canceled” R. Kelly in many entertainment spaces.

During the federal trial, jurors were shown homemade videos of R. Kelly engaging in sex acts that prosecutors said were not consensual.

He has been in jail without bail since 2019. Following this conviction, he could be looking at a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any updates.

R. Kelly’s Attorney Compares Him To Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In Closing Arguments For His Trial

'He Crawled Down On His Knees And Gave Me Oral S3x' - R. Kelly's First Male Accuser Testifies In Court

As R. Kelly’s trial nears its end, an attorney for the singer said R. Kelly was just like civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

  1. Defense attorney Deveraux Cannick told jurors Kelly is demanding prosecutors prove he’s guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in the same way Dr. King fought for Constitutional rights, the New York Post reports.

Cannick quoted King’s “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” speech, telling jurors Dr. King protested in streets across America because the government at the time was not being fair and true to all citizens.

“Somewhere, I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of the press,” Cannick quoted King from his historic address.

Cannick added that King led the civil rights movement in his attempt to make the government “be true to what’s on paper.”

“That’s all Robert is trying to do,” Cannick said.

Cannick also gunned for the prosecutors, saying their case was flawed and alleging they encouraged witnesses to lie on the stand, misled jurors, and pushed a false narrative.

“He didn’t have to recruit women,” Cannick said. “That’s the narrative they’re perpetuating.”

R. Kelly is on trial as he is accused of leading an enterprise of his “inner circle” employees that allowed him to allegedly recruit and sexually abuse girls for more than two decades.

Prosecutors alleged R. Kelly sexually abused several teen girls, including the late Aaliyah, whom he illegally wed when she was only 15 years old.

If convicted, Kelly faces 10 years to life in prison.
