The newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has shown gratitude to his supporters by providing free bus rides for students of the University of Ghana, Legon, to travel home for the Christmas holidays.
The initiative, scheduled for Saturday, December 21, 2024, serves as a token of appreciation following Dumelo’s decisive victory in the recent parliamentary election. The buses will transport students to major cities across the country, including Kumasi, Ejisu, Konongo, Ho, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Winneba, and Elmina. The designated departure point for the buses is the Volta Hall car park on the university’s campus.

The initiative has been met with excitement and appreciation from the student body, many of whom played a pivotal role in Dumelo’s electoral success.
