Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Medikal has asked the Circuit Court in Accra to order the police to release his gun to him.

The rapper who has pleaded not guilty to one charge of displaying arms and ammunition was first arraigned on October 21.

In court on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, Counsel for Medikal Alice Nimako Debrah Ablormeti, holding brief for the substantive lawyer told the court that, they have not been served with the processes and disclosures to properly mount their defence.
