Government Plans to Construct 120-Store Facility at Madina Market

In response to the recent fire incident at the Madina Market, the government has initiated plans to construct a new three-story, 120-store facility Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia announced.

During a visit to the affected area last Friday (19 April), Dr. Bawumia expressed condolences to the affected traders and pledged financial support after a verification process by the Municipal Assembly.

Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of fire insurance and other insurance schemes for traders across the country to safeguard their investments.

He urged all traders to prioritize these insurance options to mitigate potential losses in the future.
