GJA Awards: Edward Adeti Named Journalist of the Year

Edward Adeti, a distinguished writer, reporter, and producer with Media Without Borders, has been awarded the prestigious P.A.V. Ansah Journalist of the Year title at the 28th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Media Awards.

Adeti’s investigative work, titled “Stealing from the Sick,” uncovered drug shortages at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital and exposed a syndicate responsible for diverting essential medications. His reporting, which may have saved lives, earned him the top honor at the event held on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

The 28th GJA Media Awards also recognized outstanding journalists across various categories, including Health, Education, Sports, and Investigative Journalism. Fred Duhoe of Channel One was notably awarded Best Journalist for Television News Reporting.
