Ashawo Girls: Ghanaians Roast Nigerian Singer, Rema For ‘Disrespecting Ghanaian Girls’ In A Tweet

The multiple award-winning Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has been venting his spleen against Nigerians on social media.

The whole point triggered during his recently-held Freedom Wave Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium where he called out Nigerians during his performance.

“I no dey watch any f**king Nigerians, I dey watch you people, you be my Nigerians, Americans, Ebi you be my Yankee people. F**k Nigeria,” Shatta Wale told his fans.

He had earlier descended on the Ghana Music Industry for not acknowledging his prowess in the music game before his unpopular Nigerian statement that got Nigerians coming for his head on social media.

Meanwhile, in some series of tweets, Shatta Wale has voiced out on why he had to speak against Nigerians on stage – where he cited ‘the lack of love’ as one of his basic points.

But some Nigerians have equally replied Shatta Wale describing him as a disappointment to the music industry.

Even Nigerian movie actor Yul Edochie had a point to make and asked Shatta Wale to apologise to Nigerians.

However, a few of Nigerians have come out to thrown in their support for Shatta Wale over his comment about Nigerian artists. One of such people is Flavour.

The latest Nigerian musician to receive his part of the ranting and backlash from the controversial dancehall act is Rema.

In a tweet sighted on Rema’s Twitter page, the singer noted he’s coming to Ghana to spend the holidays in Accra.

He added that he would need about ten (10) Ghanaians ladies to help release the intention in his mind.

His comments did not sit well with Shatta Wale who saw the tweet. Shatta reacted to Rema’s tweet and according to him, Rema is “spiting on the dignity of Ghanaians girls” and the entire country.

He further added that it is a total disrespect to Ghanaian girls. He wondered why Rema bypassed going for a massage at a SPA to sleeping with 10 ladies to release stress.
