A video of Shatta Wale calling on IGP Dr George Akuffo Dampare to teach Ghanaian celebs a bitter lessons by getting them arrested for misbehaving in the country has surfaced online hours after he was remanded into prison yesterday.

Earlier on GhArticles.com reported that an Accra Circuit Court has remanded dancehall musician, Shatta Wale for one week in police custody.

The controversial artiste, yesterday, pleaded not guilty to a charge of publication of false news.

On October 19, the artiste turned himself in after the police had declared him wanted.

He had allegedly fabricated a story that he had been shot and receiving treatment, which turned out to be a hoax.

Two of his accomplices were charged with abetment of crime.

And it appears that Shatta Wale has eaten fruit of his own words following his detention.

A video is believed to have been recorded during his recent beef with Sadiq Abu Abdullah and some other industry players.

In video sighted by GhArticles.com, the Ayoo hitmaker said some Ghanaians celeb deserves to be jailed for a maximum of three months to learn to behave properly.

On this note, he therefore called on the IGP to start arresting any Ghanaian celeb who misbehave thinking he or she is above the law.

Meanwhile, Shatta who has started serving his one week remand in prison is expected to reappear in court on October 28, 2021.

The court premises saw a mob of fans and sympathisers alike who wanted to catch glimpse of the artiste.

Some of the personalities present included Bulldog, Jupitar, Medikal, Captan among others.

The Police Service has advised citizens against publishing false information capable of disturbing the country’s peace.
